Reasons for the Act of Bullying

Bullying is a behavior of a certain individual that produces adverse effects on the behavior of the other person being bullied.

Bullies usually happen on children in school.This would result in an environment not good for children. There are various factors that lead to bully and this behavior imposes danger on those who are bullied and on those individuals who do the bullying. These factors are based on research made.

Dominance is a major factor in the act of bullying.

Also, peer pressure plays an important role in the performance of the bully. Most kids in school experience being bullied by their elder schoolmates or their seniors. Acts of bully vary from one to another. There are those who are bullied by means of teasing. Teasing involves a number of people and with which almost the entire campus are being aware of the bully being done. Individuals who are fund of bullying others have also problems of their own. It is either they are not given enough attention at home or possess hatred on themselves and do the act of bullying as their defense mechanism. They usually pass the failures they have on themselves to others; to those whom they bully.

On the other hand, those individuals who are usually bullied are those who lack self-confidence. They do not believe in themselves, being the reason why they do not fight back when they are bullied. Those individuals who allow themselves to be bullied have usually fear or phobia. It is either they are afraid of being rejected and not to have friends or is just really afraid to fight back.

Bullying usually causes shame on the part of the aggrieved party or the person being bullied. On the other hand, those who do the act of bullying usually feel great of themselves. They feel that they are top of others because they have the freedom to do whatever they want. At the same time, they feel that they have the power and fame whenever they bully others.

Research and studies according to psychologist have explained that there is no one who is on top and aggrieved in the act of bullying but rather both sides are affected and aggrieved because bully itself is something which is not appropriate and will do no good on either parties.

It is very important that parents must monitor their child not just at home but have a close monitoring in school in order to secure the safety of their child from being bullied and for bullying others as well.

Whatever the reasons maybe, bullying is still wrong.
